The Planning Department’s primary function is to plan for future growth and development by participating in the development and implementation of short and long-range planning documents.įormed in 1965, the Police Department has grown from its original staff of one part-time officer to a 60-member, full-service, internationally accredited agency.Ĭarved out of the rolling, wooded hills of western Clermont County in 1811, Union Township remains poised to accommodate continued and sustainable growth over 200 years later.Īs Union Township maintains steady growth, the Service Department continues its mission to provide a variety of services in a professional, courteous and efficient manner.
Ron Campbell was appointed Fiscal Officer by the Union Township Board of Trustees in October, 2006, and is currently in his fourth elected term. Five fire stations are staffed with full-time cross- trained firefighting and emergency medical service personnel 24 hours per day, seven days a week.
